Compass is a mental healthcare navigation platform that connects students to preventative and holistic support.

Designed by students for students, we offer an intersectional approach to post-secondary wellness. Compass makes it simple to search trusted resources based on unique needs and identity, whether on-campus, locally, or online.

The Problems We’re Tackling

The system is confusing and overwhelming.

Resources are currently fragmented throughout the system; students, faculty, and staff find it confusing and challenging to navigate available options.

Students are unsure where to go.

Students are struggling to find reliable information about personalized support; they want resources that fit their unique needs and identities.

Leadership lacks data.

The gap in real-time data about student mental health behaviours and attitudes causes inefficiencies in resource allocation and creation.

So we built Compass.

Our Solution

Centralized resources.

Compass centralizes on-campus, off-campus, and online resources. Compass vet resources and keeps information about resources up-to-date.

Personalized recommendations.

Compass generates a pathway to combination support based on a student’s unique needs and identity.

Actionable insights.

Compass equips leadership teams with data to better understand their student body and to optimize existing systems .

What Students Are Saying

“I didn’t even know most of these resources existed!”

“I like that it’s all in one spot, it feels like the school is actually doing something”

“I’ve been able to easily find resources to share with my friends that I think could use it, thanks for doing this”

“I love how it’s organized in the different sections of community, mental health and physical health, it makes it really easy to find what I’m looking for and also reminds me of the different aspects of health!”
