Who can access myWellness by Compass?
Any McGill student can log into the platform seamlessly using their institution credentials through single-sign-on.
How can I find mental health and wellness resources using myWellness?
After logging into the platform there are a few different ways in which you can find resources under the ‘My Mental Health’ tab.
Recommended resources - you can fill out the assessment tool that takes under a minute to complete, a couple questions to help us understand what your unique needs, wants and identity is to help you connect with an optimized list of resources. Your data is completely safe with us and de-identified. Please view our privacy policy if you’d like to learn more on how we protect your data! (our number 1 priority)
Browse all resources - browse the list of mental health and wellness resources available to you on campus, off campus, or online. You can use the filters to tailor searches for yourself. You can also use this to help a friend find resources as well!
Mindfulness library - browse a list of resources collected by our team and through student discovery for tools that can support in your mental health journey
What other kinds of resources can I find on myWellness?
myWellness offers a wide variety of different types of resources intended to meet students wherever they are in their mental health journey. We recognize that everyone has unique needs, wants and identities that affect which resources will be the most beneficial. Students can decide which type of support best suits them, from self-guided to peer-to-peer, in their preferred method of delivery, from online to off-campus to on-campus.
How are resources selected for me?
After completing the recommended resources, you will instantly receive a list of recommended resources based on your input. This is done through our matching tool that helps filter through all the resources available in the area and selects the ones that are most relevant to your unique needs, wants and identity. Making navigating through all the resources in a simple and easy way.

What happens after I am recommended resources?
Once you’ve filled out the resource questionnaire, your personalized resources will appear directly on the platform. From there, you can discover the individual recommendations that will take you out of the platform, or re-take the assessment if your situation has changed or you wish to discover new resources.
Is the platform only focused on mental health?
While the Resource Recommendation tool is the main feature of the platform, you can also find different ways to get active under the My Physical Health page and different ways to get involved through the Community Calendar.
How was the platform built?
myWellness by Compass was built by students for students. The intention for the platform was to help find mental health resources that are unique to the individual needs, wants and identities of each student. Each feature on the platform was co-created alongside diverse groups of students. myWellness is still a new, growing and evolving platform so you can expect updates and changes throughout the year as we continue to be better for students!
